ACTA ICHTHYOLOGICA ET PISCATORIA (AIeP) is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles based on original experimental data or experimental methods, or new analyses of already existing data, in any aspect of ichthyology and fisheries (fin-fish only).We favour articles with an innovative approach, innovative interpretation, interesting justification of the research, and most of all, well fitting into the mainstream science. Such papers should constitute a step in a logical development of a subject and set new pathways for future research. We avoid accepting papers that are “isolated” (i.e., not linked to the “past” and “future” science). Manuscripts not fitting into the above-mentioned description (even those done perfectly in terms of methodology) are promptly rejected on the grounds of insufficient scientific priority. We discourage the practice of reporting results of a single study in two or more manuscripts (“salami science”).

《魚類學與漁業(yè)學報》(AIeP)是一份國際性的、經過同行評審的科學期刊，發(fā)表文章的基礎是魚類學和漁業(yè)(僅限鰭魚)任何方面的原始實驗數(shù)據(jù)或實驗方法，或對現(xiàn)有數(shù)據(jù)的新分析。我們喜歡有創(chuàng)新方法的文章，創(chuàng)新的解釋，有趣的研究理由，最重要的是，很好地融入主流科學。這些論文應該構成一個學科邏輯發(fā)展的步驟，并為未來的研究開辟新的道路。我們避免接受“孤立”的論文(即，與“過去”和“未來”的科學無關)。不符合上述說明的稿件(即使是那些在方法上做得很完美的稿件)，也會因為沒有足夠的科學優(yōu)先次序而被迅速拒絕。我們不鼓勵在兩個或更多的手稿中報告單個研究的結果(“薩拉米科學”)。
