sci論文投稿后多數是會返修的，而有的作者比較忙沒有在規定時間內完成修改工作，這時要申請延長返修時間，詢問有沒有參考模板?一般是有一次延期申請的機會，作者申請理由一定要充分，如下是三個可以參考的模板：

　　感謝您給我們一個機會進行重大修改，將我們的手稿提高到適合在貴刊上發表的水平。然而，我們需要一個新的延長期限，以便進一步修訂。您能把截止日期延長到XXX嗎?

　　Dear XXX,

　　Thanks for your email informing us that our manuscript entitled "XXX" (Manuscript ID: XXX ) is due for revision. We appreciate that you gave us a chance of major revision to improve our manuscript to meet the publication requirements of your journal. However, We we would like to ask you to extend the deadline for further revision. Could you please extend the due day to XXX? Thanks for your kindness.
